Our Mission

The Harlem Center of Al-Islam is a muslim community that manages its affairs using the resources of the Sacred Qur'an and the life example of Muhammed The Prophet (SAWS), following the mathhab (school of thought, leadership, etc.) of Imam W. Deen Mohammed (RAA).

We proclaim in word and deed the universal message of Al-Islam that there is but one G-d and one human family. We are committed to establishing a balanced community life in its broadest sense. We accept the responsibility as American citizens to contribute to the best of American life and to work with all others of like minds.

The Harlem Center of Al-Islam is dedicated to promoting the liberating message of freedom, justice and equality for all Humanity.
